Our Team

Dr Dinesh Singh
(Veterinarian BSc BVMS)

Hi! I am Dinesh, one of the newer members of the team here at South St Vets. I am another graduate from Murdoch University. I have always been interested in animals since I can remember. Growing up I have had rabbits, hamsters, turtles and dogs! I was born and raised in Malaysia but Perth is definitely my second home. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, watching movies and cooking. I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved pets.

Dr Michelle Foley
(Veterinarian MVB MRCVS)
My name's Michelle and I graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2011.
I have worked in small animal practice in Ireland and the UK , working with dogs, cats, rabbits and other small furries!
I moved to Perth in November 2015 and
joined the team here in February 2016. I am really enjoying working with such a friendly and dedicated team, that really love their jobs, caring for all the pets we see.
I love dogs but have a particular soft spot for cats!

Dr Liam Bailey
(Veterinarian BSc BVMS)

(Ever since I talked my parents into getting a dog when I was 8 I’ve always loved being around animals and learning more about them. In 2015 I graduated with my BVMS from Murdoch University and am blessed to spend most of my day surrounded by cute fluffy animals. At home I have a 9.5y/o labrador X ridgeback that loves long beach walks, a good belly or ear rub and chasing his ball. Outside of veterinary science my hobbies include surfing, squash, snowboarding, travel, music and dog walks.

Emily Fielding
(Registered Veterinary Nurse and Nurse Manager)
Growing up on a farm in Tasmania, I have always been surrounded by animals. I share my home with 2 very sweet Maltese X Shih Tzu’s; Lenny and Digga, a rescued ginger kitty Clyde and my new husband! I love working at South St Vet because every day is different and I get to be surrounded by great team members, clients and patients, which definitely makes it the best job around.

Casey Hogue
(Registered Veterinary Nurse)

Hi I'm Casey! I joined the team here at South St Vet in April of 2014 after completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I love every part of being a vet nurse but I particularly enjoy surgery and giving all of the patients cuddles! At home I have a very cheeky Maltese X Toy Poodle, "Oreo" who is always keeping me busy and is the reason I decided to enter the veterinary industry. Lately you may have noticed I haven't been at the clinic as much, this is because I have returned to study at Murdoch University, hoping to transfer into Veterinary Science.

Caitlyn Surman
(Registered Veterinary Nurse)

Hi I’m Caitlyn, I am a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse, I have been a part of the team at Vet Co-op since 2011. I am interested in every aspect of nursing, but I especially enjoy working with our hospital patients, giving them lots of cuddles and love during their stay with us.  At home I have a miniature menagerie, 2 cheeky cats, Murray and Peaches and 2 very bouncy dogs; Gypsy and Tank.

Ellie Sands
(Registered Veterinary Nurse)

Hi I'm Ellie! I joined the South St Vet team in October 2014. I am currently completing a traineeship for my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and plan to complete it by the end of 2015. My love for animals started at a very young age, I always had a house full of animals! My love for the veterinary industry started to come out when I travelled to South Africa as an 18 year old to work at a rehabilitation center for wild African animals including lions, cubs, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, rhinos and many more! After building so many relationships with these animals I realized I just could not do anything else.
My favourite aspect of being a vet nurse is seeing your pets through to the stage when they go home happy and healthy. I love seeing improvements, and knowing that the vets, myself and the other nurses have helped make that difference!
I currently have a very loving and playful 2 year old American Staffy X called Tucker, and a beautiful 7 month old black kitten called Harley who was originally handed into South St as a stray. I love my little fur family, and I can't wait to meet yours!

Kristina Murray
(Registered Veterinary Nurse)

Hey I'm Kristina! I'm a Qualified Veterinary Nurse and have been working with the team at South Street Vet since February 2013. I have recently returned from my travels to Canada and Central America where I spent some time volunteering at an animal shelter that included sloths, monkeys, Kinkajous and many more exotic and wonderful animals!
I am happy to be back doing what I absolutely love with my awesome team and look forward to meeting you four-legged (or less!) babies.
